The NVG Rhino mount was designed in 2006 to give special operations ground forces the ability to carry and use both night vision and infrared devices. It mounts under the standard mil-spec rucksack or plate carrier that is currently in use. With it’s mounting system the NVG Rhino has one of the lowest profiles amongst all the NVG mount systems.
