Mary Kelly, Bar Manager
Mary Kelly served as bar manager at Kapnos in Washington, D.C. through March 2016 before joining Graffiato as bar manager. At Kapnos she worked with MIC beverage director Taha Ismail to add a contemporary Greek spin to the restaurant’s extensive classically-inspired cocktail list.
Prior to joining the MIC team, she plied her trade at Del Campo in downtown D.C., where she managed a heavily South American bar program. Before that her work took her to prominent local restaurants like Le Bar at the Sofitel, BLT Steak, Acadiana and Ceiba. She cut her teeth in the D.C. restaurant scene behind the bar at Cleveland Park’s Sorriso. A native of the Finger Lakes, Kelly has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from SUNY Cortland.
